This annual Spring Rattlesnake Avoidance clinic in the Palmdale area is sponsored by Jin-Sohl Jindo Dog Rescue. It offers a pro-active training method for keeping dogs safe from rattlesnakes, which are common on hiking trails throughout Southern California and most of the U.S. The fee is $70 per dog and proceeds go to the rescue and placement of Jindo dogs. Pre-registration is required. Email snakeclinic@hotmail.com for more information. Dogs must be leashed and under owner's control and care at all times.
