This lake is set at an elevation of over 2,500 feet and with a surface area of 11,200 acres it is Kern County's largest body of year round water. The lake is a popular spot for fishing and boating. Dogs are allowed at the lake and in the lake but must be on leash. Please clean up after your pets. There are nearby dog-friendly Sequoia National Forest trails within driving distance, including the Trail of a Hundred Giants.
