The wooded Sly Park Recreation Area offers 159 campsites at an elevation of 3,500 feet. Site amenities include a table, barbecue and fire ring. Camp amenities include water, vault toilets, and a dump station at the park entrance. Pets on leash are allowed in the campground and on trails including the 8 to 9 mile trail which surround the lake. Dogs are not allowed in the lake. There is an additional fee of $2 per night per pet. Although open year round, call first in winter as snow causes road closures. The camping and tent areas also allow dogs. There is a dog walk area at the campground. There are no electric or water hookups at the campgrounds.
