This campground is at a 6,377 foot elevation and is located in the Lake Tahoe Management Basin Unit of the National Forest. The camp offers 250 sites and 17 are available on a first-come, first-served basis. The maximum RV length allowed is 40 feet. Amenities include water, flush toilets, fire rings, picnic tables and barbecues. There are miles of trails which begin at or near this campground. Pets on leash are allowed at no additional fee, but not at the beach; they are allowed to swim in the lake. Please clean up after your pets. Dogs are allowed on the trails. Access to the campgrounds is on a rough paved road. A regular passenger car will make it, but go slow. This campground is closed during the off-season. The camping and tent areas also allow dogs. There is a dog walk area at the campground. There are no electric or water hookups at the campgrounds.
