This trail is located in the Plumas National Forest and is an easy one way 1.5 mile trail. This trail provides access to the Bucks Lake Wilderness and the Pacific Crest Trail. At Bucks Lake swimming and fishing are popular activities. Dogs on leash or off-leash but under direct voice control are allowed. Dogs are allowed on the trails and in the water. Please clean up after your pets. To get there from Quincy, go west 9.2 miles on Bucks Lake Road. Turn right on a gravel road, 24N29X (Silver Lake sign). Go 6.4 miles to the lake and the Silver Lake Campground. The trail begins at the campground.
