In addition to live demonstrations, interpretive programs/trails, and a scenic auto tour, if guests visit the park during the summer on Fridays or Saturdays (11 am to 4 pm) they can hike to the fossil research quarry to help staff and get first hand experience. Dogs are allowed on site; they must be leashed and under their owner's control at all times.
