Havenwoods is an island of nature within the city of Milwaukee. Environmental education programs and walking trails are available for various types of groups. Dogs of all sizes are allowed. There are no additional pet fees. Dogs may not be left unattended at any time, and they must be leashed and cleaned up after. Dogs are not allowed at the picnic area and on some of the trails. There is a display board with a map in the parking area that shows which trails are off limits. The park is open daily from 6 am to 8 pm.
