Home to one of the largest reservoirs in the western part of the state offering 36 miles of shoreline, it is quite popular for all types of water activities. The park has concessionaires, and regular educational and interpretive programs through the summer. Dogs are allowed for no additional fee. They must be on no more than a 10 foot leash and be cleaned up after at all times. Dogs are not allowed on designated swimming beaches or in any park buildings.
