Functioning both as an environmentally educational park and a great get-a-way spot, there is a wide variety of activities, special events, year round water and land recreational opportunities, guided tours, and more to enjoy at this beautiful day use park. Some of the features/amenities include the historical Smith House (a testament to the area's past), rental equipment, look-out points, multi-use trails, a bird feeding route, picnic sites, a playground, a café and a snackbar, and restrooms. Access to the park is free; parking is $2.50 per hour to a total cost of $6 for the day. Dogs are allowed for no additional fee. Dogs must be under their owner's control, leashed, and cleaned up after at all times.
