This day-use park of 2,485 acres is situated at an altitude of 8,300 feet and is home to a 2,400 acre lake that is surrounded by 2 of the state's tallest peaks. There is an abundance of wildlife, great fishing, and a variety of land and water recreational opportunities. Some of the amenities include boat ramps, restrooms, and picnic areas. Dogs of all sizes are allowed throughout the park and on the trails. Dogs must be under owners control at all times, and they must be leashed and cleaned up after.
