The park's parking lot is over 10,000 feet with trails reaching an elevation of over 12,000 feet. The park is open year round, but their ski season is usually mid-December through mid-March with the exception of a couple of 2 week closures for maintenance. They have a full service base community, an extensive biking/hiking system, sand pit volleyball, picnic areas, eateries, and more. Dogs are allowed on the mountain all year, but they are not allowed on the ski trails during the ski season or on the tram or chair lift at any time. Pets may join you at the outdoor dining tables, picnic areas, and on many of the trails. Dogs must be well behaved, leashed and cleaned up after at all times.
