This park of over 1,600 acres offers opportunities for nature study in addition to providing an interpretive center, more than 14 miles of trails, and a wide range of land and water recreation. Dogs of all sizes are allowed at no additional fee. Dogs may not be left unattended outside, and they must be on no more than a 6 foot leash, and be cleaned up after. Dogs are not allowed on the furniture or bed in the cabins, and they must be placed in a crate if left inside. Dogs are not allowed in the pool area, but they are allowed on the trails. The state reservation phone number is 402-471-1414. The camping and tent areas also allow dogs. There is a dog walk area at the campground. Dogs are allowed in the camping cabins. There are no water hookups at the campground.
