This popular park offers a wide range of land and sea recreation, bird, marine, and wildlife, and scenic sand dunes blended against sea grasses and sea. Permits for the park are available at the entrance and several other places in town. Dogs are allowed at the park; from April 1st to September 30th dogs must be on leash, and from October 1st to March 31st dogs may be off lead only if they are under good voice control. Dogs must be under their owner's control and cleaned up after at all times.
