This Rails to Trails linear park is a 34.5 mile long multi-use trail that connects Kalamazoo to the shores of Lake Michigan passing several historical, cultural, recreational, and other sites of interest along the way. There is a $3 fee for day use or a $15 annual fee (April to April), and entrances are available at trailheads located at 10th Street 2 miles North of West Main; the depot in Bloomingdale, the DNR lot in Grand Junction, or in South Haven at Wells Street and Bailey Avenue. Dogs are allowed on the trail; they must be under their owner's control, leashed, and cleaned up after at all times.
