Beagle Rescue of Southern Maryland, Inc., or Beagle MarylandTM, is a nonprofit corporation founded in April 2001, which helps and finds homes for beagles in need. Our beagles come to us as strays, from shelters, as owner surrenders - and we do all we can to help every beagle in need of help who crosses our path. All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, current on shots, heartworm negative and microchipped before they go to a permanent home. It is our primary goal that our beagles, many of whom have had unhappy lives before they came to us, are given the best chance at finding their forever families. Toward that end, dogs are placed in permanent homes that meet our Standards for Adoption.
