This was New England's first scenic road, and it is now considered "The" 4 season vacation highway with a hundred miles of historic beauty and activities to explore. There are 5 driving tours mapped out in the Mohawk Trails region which are available through the Trail Association or it can be downloaded from the web. The trail webpage is http://www.mohawktrail.com/. Dogs must be leashed and cleaned up after when out of the vehicle.
