Numerous trails, an 18 hole disc golf course, excellent fishing, and a variety of other land and water recreation greet visitors at this park. Pets must be restrained by a camper, cage, hand-held leash, or tethered chain no longer than 10 feet at all times. Dogs may not be left unattended outside. They are not allowed on swimming beaches, or in swimming areas that are delineated by buoys or other markers, or in public buildings or structures. Dogs are allowed on the trails. The camping and tent areas also allow dogs. There is a dog walk area at the campground.
