Run by the state for vehicles and passengers, this free ferry links Highway 100 in Grafton to the village of Brussels in Calhoun County, and it has become a prime bald eagle viewing route as they feed on the stunned fish from the propellers churning up the ice in winter. Dogs are allowed on the ferry for no additional fee. Dogs must be leashed, crated, or in the vehicle, and under their owner's care at all times.
