Vander Veer Botanical Park
Vander Veer Botanical Park 215 W. Central Park Avenue Davenport, Iowa
52803 563-326-7818 Map
For only being a 33 acre park there is a lot to see, including an amazing collection of trees, themed gardens, native and non-native flora, and it was one of the first gardens registered as an American Hosta Society National Display Garden. The park also has a wonderful "Grand Allee" walkway leading to a popular Stone Fountain of dancing and lighted waters, a children's playground, and a catch-and-release stocked lagoon. Dogs are allowed throughout the park; they are not allowed in buildings. Dogs must be leashed and under their owner's control at all times.
