Mountain City Historic Park
Mountain City Historic Park Gregory Street Black Hawk, Colorado
84022 303-582-2525 Map
Black Hawk is known for having many casinos and a large variety of seasonal attractions. Against a backdrop of being a distinct old west gold mining town with restored old buildings, an active historical society museum, and several historic mining sites, there is a city block park they consider a prime attraction. It is a stroll back in time that offers a glimpse of the intermingling of Victorian and Gothic architectural styles, and the park features other sites/statues, like the mama bear and her 3 cubs. This day use park is free of charge and is open daily. Dogs of all sizes are allowed throughout the park. Dogs must be leashed at all times, and they request that you bring supplies to clean up after your pet.
