From October through March, dogs are allowed off-leash in a designated area near the Fraser River. The area is located near the end of Byrne Road. The following off-leash codes apply: clean up after your pet, you must be present and in verbal control of your dog at all times, dogs must wear a valid rabies tag, no aggressive dogs allowed, and dogs must be leashed before and after using the off-leash area. Dogs on leash are allowed in the rest of the park, but not on the banks of the Fraser River.
