This park is home to one of the best preserved cliff dwellings in North America. The 20 room, 5 story cliff dwelling sits high above a creek in a limestone recess, and served as a "high-rise apartment building" for Sinagua Indians over 600 years ago. Exhibits along the self-guiding trail describe the cultural and natural history of the site and a diorama/audio program shows the interior view of the cliff dwellings. Dogs must be on no more than a six foot leash at all times and cleaned up after. Dogs may not be left unattended in the park or in automobiles. They are open every day of the year, including Christmas day. Winter hours: 8 AM to 5 PM; Summer hours (May 30th through Labor Day): 8 AM to 6 PM MST.
