Comments:Walking the dog Theater?s walkingthedogWALK 2008, the company?s first annual parade and fair event on July 12th, 2008. register at www.wtdtheater.org/dogWALK.htm Only registered dogs will receive a number and a ?Doggie Bag? with goodies, including a t-shirt with the walkingthedogWALK logo, created for Walking the dog Theater by Ken Polinskie.The event will include a dog parade down Warren St. that will lead all dogs and fellow participants into Walking the dog Theater/Basilica Industria on Front St., just beyond the Hudson Amtrak Station from 10am-12noon. The Parade will culminate with a ?Bestminster? Dog Show and Mini-Country Fair from 12 to 2pm at WTD/Basilica. There will be food, drinks, music, a raffle, door prizes (incl. organic dog food supplies) and lots of fun things available for the whole family! Susan Fireman of the Good Dog Foundation will offer two MIND YOUR MANNERS classes for the happy few. A panel of children judges will award prizes to the dogs (?most dramatic?, ?most comedic?, ?most elegant?, etc.) and a new Spokesdawg will be chosen for next year! Those without a dog can sponsor the Humane Society Dog, or bring a stuffed animal, or use their imagination in every other way! Walking the dog Theater, Inc. is a professional not-for-profit theater company based in Hudson, NY.
