This gala event will raise funds to benefit dogs in need at the Mile High Weimaraner Rescue organization. We will have wine (weim) and cheese, hors d'oeuvres, desserts, wine tasting, a LIVE auction and silent auction items.Mile High Weimaraner Rescue is a Colorado-based, nonprofit, all- volunteer organization providing medical care, transportation, temporary housing, and breed-specific adoption services to Weimaraners in need. Expenses we incur include: Surgery, medicines, diagnostic testing, spay/neuters, heartworm testing/treatment, microchipping, behavioral treatment/rehabilitation and vaccinations. During the past two years we have placed over 130 Weimaraners in permanent homes and provided over $30,000 in veterinary care. At least 90% of the proceeds from this event will be dedicated to rescue services. All fundraising proceeds benefit the rescue program of the Mile High Weimaraner Club.Tickets: $30 each if purchased before October 15, 2008. After October 15, 2008 they will be $40 each. Special for Mile High Weimaraner Club members: buy one ticket and get one free. Ticket sales are limited to the first 100 people, so don't delay. Each ticket includes: hors d'oeuvres, desserts, two drink coupons for a glass of Bonacquisiti wine of your choice and lots and lots of fun!!!! (Additional glasses of wine may be purchased.)
